Safety records, driver-log questions and unfinished tasks can move between several people before reaching management. A monthly review brings the selected work together so you can see what changed, which actions moved forward and where your team needs a decision.
A task can appear complete while supporting records are still missing. The report separates items needing more information from those ready for a company decision.
Choose the focus for your monthly review.
Management questions
- Which operating areas should the monthly review cover?
- Which records will show progress, and who will provide them?
- What remains open from the previous review, and what is holding it up?
- Which decisions need management approval or input from another team?
- What corrective support or training should be included in the service?
Problems this solves
- The same issue appears each month without a clear record of follow-up.
- Tasks are marked complete but supporting information is still missing.
- Safety, ELD and management teams hold different versions of the current status.
- Follow-up stalls because nobody knows who is responsible.
- Managers receive a list of problems without enough context to choose the next step.
Deliverables
- Written findings for the operating areas and period covered by the review.
- A summary of relevant changes and recurring issues identified in the supplied records.
- An updated action list showing new items, progress and unresolved work.
- Responsibilities and follow-up dates, where agreed with your team.
- A record of missing information and decisions needed to move an action forward.
- Corrective support and training follow-up through CarrierFlow TMS and its LMS when included in your written offer.
Implementation path
- Agree the review: select the areas, records and reporting period, then confirm the outputs, responsibilities and fees in your written offer.
- Share the records: your named contacts send the agreed files, earlier actions and relevant changes for the review period.
- Examine the records: we compare the supplied information with earlier actions and note recurring issues or missing information.
- Receive the report: get written findings and an updated action list with proposed priorities, decisions needed and responsibilities where agreed.
- Follow up: your team and Magellan carry out their agreed work. At the next review, we check progress and keep unresolved tasks on the action list.
Common questions
Can we choose which areas are reviewed?
Yes. Choose Safety, ELD or another agreed combination of operating areas. Before work begins, we confirm the records, reporting period and outputs for that scope.
What does our company need to provide?
Your team provides the agreed records, updates on earlier actions and a contact who can answer questions. If information is missing, the report identifies the gap and what is needed to continue.
Does the monthly fee include corrective work or training?
Your written offer identifies any corrective work or training included in the service and any additional charges for the work you choose. Support can be arranged through CarrierFlow TMS and its learning management system (LMS).
Is this daily Safety or ELD support?
This service provides a monthly review cycle. If you also need people handling daily records, driver questions or shifts, discuss the separate Safety Support and ELD Support staffing options with us.
How is this different from a Paperwork package review?
Paperwork review examines existing documents as part of buying a Basic, Standard or Premium package. Monthly Reviews is an ongoing service for checking selected operating areas and progress on earlier actions.
